Golconda sets are from Germany, and there is quite a variety ofsets from playing cards to plastics. This is a wood set, the designs are printed on paper, cut and then glued to wooden blocks. Oh yes, a lovely crane... one of my favorites for sure. The box is a typical cardboard box with tile trays, the coins are punched out pieces of cardboard in bright colors. I don't think this set has been played with as everything, including the the inside of the box is in excellent condition, the outside of the box is slightly soiled from handling. The little Chinese man on the top of the box is exactly like the one on the booklet that comes with the Richter set (page 74).

There are 144 tiles that measure 1 3/16" x 7/8" x 1/2". The box measures 8 1/2 " x 5 3/8" x 3 1/2 ". There are 3 single sheets printed on both sides, in German.
