Happy New Year Everyone,

Okay, during my "winter break"  (ha ha), I have been working hard to get some of the stickers actually into the catalog. It takes so long, sorry.  I have been working on the "Critters" section of the Custom Catalog and nearly got it up to date. I have added over a thousand stickers for you to check out and some are just too adorable.  Enjoy!  I am going to "get back to work" now with sticker orders and tile requests.  Thank you so much for allowing me some time to get some of this necessary work done, I only wish I could have accomplished all I wanted to.

Happy Holidays Everyone,

It's time for my winter break!   I have had the flu and just can't shake it so I need some time to get back on my feet, this would be a good time to take a break. 

What does that mean?  Please, if you need answers I will get back to you as soon as I can, just don't be surprised it you don't hear back from me right away.    If you want to order stickers and tiles or maybe even a set,  I am here just not under any pressure to "get it done" right away.   So basically from today's date until after the holidays I will not guarantee that orders can be shipped before January. 

If I need to keep busy I just may get it done, just no guarantees please.  Of course you are welcome to email me and we will discuss it.   I am tired and behind from being sick, I just have to get caught up and at my own speed and on my schedule. Thank you so much for your patience and understanding.

G'nite "Irene"

If you are tracking this storm you know that we are now out of her way.... I was up a 5am and the winds were still very strong so I did not post here until now. Thank you all for the emails and phone calls, we are fine and so thankful. As you have seen the headlines many people have died from this storm, mostly caused by falling trees, in our area an 11 year old boy passed away after a tree cut through his bedroom. We hope that there are no more lives lost as this storm makes it's way north, please stay safe!!

Happy Summer!

It's hot this year, please stay cool!

It's also time for me to take my vacation, sort of.  For the next 3 weeks I will be busy entertaining company  (what a vacation, lol).  I am not going anywhere but as you can imagine I will be very busy.

During this period you are more than welcome to order stickers and tiles, I just won't be doing much until the company leaves, so delivery will be sporatic until then.

Spring Fever has hit!

Thank you all for your patience,  things are busy busy around here.  Once again I am torn,  there is so much to do and not enough time to do it so here is my plan.   For the next month or so, maybe even 6 weeks, I am going to be doing "my thing". There are several sets I need to document, you are going to love this, get those pictures up on the internet.  I always put you first by making your stickers, looking for tiles for you and answering all those really great emails,  I need to spend some time getting my virtual house in order. 

Last week I noticed a few pages were having problems,  some of the graphics had magically switched --- I am pretty sure it's from my web hosts using old back up files but who knows, I need to fix it. I also notice a couple of links weren't working.  You have seen "old and new" and commented so it's past time. It's going to get addressed.

There are a couple of new aquistions I would love to add to "THE BOOK" and the Museum.  It's time kids.

I am not abandoning you, just asking for permission to take some time here to get it together.  So, if it takes me a whole day to answer your emails, and a few more days to find those tiles -- I am still working for you in the background.

Feel free to complain, lol,

Happy Spring Everyone!

Okay, not totally  happy here, we have the flu --- it is awful.  I am behind again, but starting to get stuff done.

I have added a little blurb to THE BOOK,  if you go to the contents, then "symbolism", scroll to the bottom and click on the link for Bird Symbolism -- I have added some nice pictures of birds (beside a mah jong tile), with a short description of the symbolism.  Hope you enjoy it.

Probably next week, once I get caught up a bit more, I will be adding some new stickers.  Check the custom catalog first.  Enjoy.

Happy New Year all!

I have decided that at least 3 times a year I am going to be taking a break from everything, a Winter break  (December 20 - January 1),  a Summer Break  (to be announced), and a break somewhere else depending on what's going on (just a few days). There is just stuff that needs to get done and it is very hard to accomplish it if I have stay tuned here all the time.  I will continue to monitor the mail and questions -- just need a bit of time off.  Thank you all for understanding.

I genuinely hope you all had a safe and happy holiday season, and that the next year will be filled with many great things.

Again, over and over, thank you all for your patience with me, your good wishes and all that positive energy. I am still recovering, had a couple of small set backs  (and it's just too hot in this part of the country),  but things are moving along.

If you can continue your patience with me, please ,  go ahead and send me your tile searches.  I am giving you fair waring though, I have developed an attitude  (if I don't feel like doing something today, well I am not doing it).  My work ethic is just so strong I think it hurts me some times so I am practicing techniques to relax and take a day off once in awhile.  I hope you will understand.

First, let me say thank you to all of you who have been so kind while I am on the road to recovery.  Everything is going really well and although there is still a great deal of recovery to go -- at least I feel like I am on my way. Again, thank you so much --- I love you all!!

Now,  about a month ago I was planning to sell the last Cancer set.  This year my son (proud mama here), is running in support of "Women's Cancer", and I would like to donate the procedes from the sale of this set to this event.  Time has run away,  sigh,  so I am asking that you tell all your friends and lets get some money together for this event and see if I can do it from my site.  In the past I have auctioned these on eBay,  the first year I lost money and the second year I lost even more.  It amounts to me donating the entire amount plus the expenses -- this year I really can't afford it.  So,  please help, no middlemen and the full, 100% is going to this event. 

Also, last year, a lady made a special request for this set and then didn't follow through ---  lucky for you!!

This will be like an auction, highest bidder wins --- just email me your bid and I will give you a special name like "bidder#1" or "bidder#5", it's unique to you and I will post your bid and ID on the site.  This auction is ending August 7th at midnight.  Payment is due August 8th via PayPal. Happy Canada Day!!

Dear Friends, the best way to do this is to come right out and say it.  Today is the only exception. On June the 22, 2010 I suffered a heart attack and on June 25 I had triple by-pass surgery. I have been told by the Cardiac team I am now off for the next two months. Open heart surgery requires that they break your breast bone so they can take your heart out and delicately sew on 3 new arteries.  Because that bone is broken and you can't put a cast on it (like a broken leg), you just have to be careful.  The good news is that I will not be doing housework either, no dishes, vacuuming and so on. 

I know your games are important to you -- but at least for the first few weeks, I cannot and will not be doing anything.

Just so you know,  I had a record recovery -- the surgery was classic, and I am doing very well, just need to heal.

Happy Valentines Everyone!

Updating all the selections in the "Custom Catalog" is taking a long time,  some days I only get one design done, but I think it's worth it so I have gone from "experimental" to "expanded".  Please be patient with me.

I have changed the order form that is at the bottom of each page to make it a bit more straight forward and trimmed down some of the choices.  When I update a page I am taking the old order forms out. Hopefully that will eliminate some of the confusion. 

In the Custom Catalog, shipping is included every time you make a selection. The reason for doing this is to save time and to reduce confusion. Many people have spam filters that eliminate my requests for the shipping so I will eventually change the Quick Order catalog too. Now I realize that will result in an overpayment, but I will refund it.  This is better for everyone, first your order won't be held up because I am waiting for the shipping payment, second it will reduce the shipping on those orders because I don't have to charge the added PayPal charges.  If you don't sell using PayPal you might not realize that 'each' transaction has a 2 tier fee schedule, every transaction starts with a 30 cent fee and then a percentage of the total is added, this will simplify everything.  For those of you who are ordering several sets of stickers, if you can't wait for the refund or don't want it charged, please just email me a list of the stickers you want and I will send you a link to a checkout set up for that.

Hope you enjoy the new selections!  Please don't let that stop you from having me create custom stickers for you, I am more than happy too.

Happy Holidays Everyone!

Thankful here for a new hard drive, things are almost all back to normal, what ever that is...

I have been working on bringing you a bigger and better catalog,  I started in the Dolls, the newest one and have now moved to the Pagodas.  This section was in desperate need of an update (I was about 24 pagodas behind, and I am up to #18), you can't help but notice that I have added "checkout" buttons. This will work exactly like the "Quick Order" catalog but there are lots more choices.  Be sure to check out the pagodas because there are some new frames and backgrounds there.  Once I get a few other things caught up I will be updating both of those sections. 

I am still very interested in doing Custom orders, just email me with details.  This new set up should give many of you some more inspiration. Sorry, some of you are going to want to tear your hair out because it's now even tougher to make a decision.  Well, what can I say, get a new set that needs new stickers, there are some really great designs.

hi Everyone,

It has been an interesting 2 weeks. First my hard drive crashed, all my email was lost (most email addresses), so if you are waiting for me to get in touch with you, please email me again. I must warn you that my brain is really overloaded, so do not be offended if I can't remember what we talked about, if you can reply to one of my emails -- that will probably help a great deal. If you emailed me from my site and I haven't replied to you, chances are my email is in your spam bin. I am compulsive about answering and try to do it within hours. Even though my best computer has been down, I still had access to the internet and mail.

I have the computer back and I am in the process of getting everything set up again -- trust me, that is going to take days and days and although you may think it is considerate to leave me alone -- forget about it! If I can't help you right away, I will tell you. I can't sit at this machine all day.

In case you haven't heard, we have just been through a terrible Nor-Easter, days and days of rain and high winds (almost hurricane level). We are fine but many services are intermittant - that includes internet, phone and cable tv. There is also a terrible mess to clean up and I may get roped into helping.

hi Everyone,

Thank you so much for your patience while I was away on "granny duty". I have another grandson!! Yes, he is another handsome guy, Mom and all are doing well.

As of today, all orders have been filled and mailed. If you have not received a shipping notice from PayPal, you need to get in touch with me. Several orders are sitting here waiting for that shipping amount to be paid so I can buy a stamp. Please folks, do add this during the order process (by actually clicking on your choice), so there is no delay in shipping. Many times my email is ending up in spam bins, partly because of the email address. If you have options on your email account to allow mail from my domain, do that before you order. My domain is "charli.org", it's not the most common so sometimes there are problems. Thanks, it will help.

There are 46 new designs added to the "Quick Order" sticker catalog (I am working on adding them to the custom catalog, but it will take a lot more time. eMail me if there is something special you want).

The Baby Phoenix is available, tiles only at the moment. In a week or two I will have a special set up there-- just waiting for the box to come in. There are only a few left, and only 11 to start with so don't miss out.

Happy Spring everyone!

I haven't posted anything for several months, so I thought it was past time. I am busy busy busy, working on Chapter 3 of THE BOOK, I sure appreciate everyones patience on this. It's going to take much longer than I thought originally, but I have started and continue to plug away at it. As a tease, when I get the first 42 sets done, I will upload them so you see what I am up to. From then on, I will upload 42 at a time so you will get an idea of the time line.

I have added a bunch of new stickers, I continue to do that from time to time, there are a lot of new backgrounds which I will eventually get online as well. If you see one on a sticker that you like and you don't see it on the background page, you just have to email me and I will see that you get it. Orders are up to date.

One thing I have been thinking about quite a bit is to eventually eliminate my Museum because eventually most of my collection will be in THE BOOK, until that is complete I will leave it up though.

I hope you all have a super spring and summer. Please check back from time to time to see the Bone and Bamboo sets in Chapter 3.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

The start of the holiday season, wow, that came up fast. Well, this is going to be a busy one so please plan ahead if you want stickers before the holidays. I am having lots of company this year and plan on enjoying it as much as possible, that means I am not going to be working around here much. In fact, no orders placed after the 10th of December will be shipped out before the new year. There are a few great new designs, enjoy!

Thank you all for getting in touch and wishing me well, it is definitely helping. I am beginning to get my feet on the ground and getting stronger every day.

This month is my anniversary, I would like to take time to express my gratitude to all my visitors, thank you. This month marks 18 years of being on the internet, 10 years selling stickers and 8 years of CHarli.org. Thank you again for visiting and sharing your thoughts, I am so pleased to be able to share with all of you.

Celebrations started with selling my very first designed set for Breast Cancer. Many thanks to everyone who participated in the auction and emailed to extend their support for the cause. Thank you so much for the compliments. This was one of those projects that has been in developement for a couple of years and finally became possible. Credit also goes to Fred for his help, and a couple of other people like Faye for helping put it all together and Bob for putting up with me as I was frantic to get it done this month.

I have added to the museum and I am working on the next chapter of THE BOOK. As time permits, I will continue to add to both sections of the web site and hope you will take the time to find those changes. Finally, got some of my French Ivory sets into the museum, there are some great Piroxloid sets for you to look at. Sorry, it's just pictures so far but hey, that's the best part anyway. Please enjoy.

Today I updated my ordering information for CHarli's Stickers and added a new visual aid for those of you who are new or those of you who haven't figured out how my little system works, I do hope this helps you.

Health wise -- recovery is going to be slow if this is any indication. I am on the road though and that's a good thing. Thank you so much for all your concern, it really does help.

Changes in my schedule are absolutely necessary, I just have to get some time away from my computer, some time off and I also have about 10 projects 'on the go' to get done.
