| I try to offer as many pictures as I can because they
really do offer another dimension.
This set is in very good ++ condition. The tiles are said to be "indestructible", I have tested them for bakelite and found they are not that, I have no clue what they are and none of the documentation gives me any clue. The engraving is excellent, the colors are brilliant and very pretty against the black background. Betting sticks are made from the same material (I presume) as the tiles only colored, there is a pair of bone dice. In the set I have for sale there are also some coins that may have been used as wind indicators - also made from the mystery material. As you can see in the close up picture, the covering on the cardboard box is the ever popular oil cloth. There is extensive embossing enhanced with rich gold colored paint. I know of 4 of these sets, this is the only one I have seen with the box in this condition and the documents included.
