This is just a fabulous AP Games set.  Please take time to look at all the pictures because they aren't bad either.  If you haven't seen the set in the green case, may I suggest you visit that too.  Notice the difference between those tiles, which are Chinese Bakelite and this set which is actually Bakelite.

To begin with this set originally had 146 tile, the main 144 plus 2 blanks, I have added 8 more and put CHarli's Stickers on them so it's now a full 152 tiles. This is an unusual set because the entire set is Bakelite; the tiles, bank, bettor and racks.  Check out the close up picture of the racks, notice there are not swirls and the separators are thick and connected to racks.  This coin bank is full of vintage coins and still has the little cardboard cover which helps hold the coins from spilling all over the case.  If I could find some Bakelite dice I would not hesitate to add them here, when I bought this set it had vintage white dice in that little brass key chain.  The case is in very very good condition, some wear and a bit of grunge but much better than many I have seen.  The inside of the tile trays is felt, in perfect condition - the bottom of the trays is the same matching material as the bank box. This is a typical '20s case. The satin lining is in perfect condition and so is the inside of the case.

The bird is affectionately known as a 'squatting peacock'.  The extra tiles have been covered with stickers from my catalog to coordinate with the set and add a bit of drama.

Have you seen my book?  You too can be an expert at figuring out what label your set has.  Please follow the geisha and look for the link.
